Happy Weekend

Hope you all had a great week.  I'm so glad to hear that we'll be having some beautiful weather this weekend.  The family and I are going to try to soak it all in and enjoy because I heard it's going to be raining here all next week.  Boo!  It's been crazy these past couple of weeks and this is the first real weekend in awhile that we can actually take it easy & relax.  Sorry for the lack of posts [okay no posts] this week.  Next week will be better!  Make sure to check back.  I will have recuperated by then :)  Happy weekend to you all!

Did you hear the news?

I'm sure you already heard but just in case you haven't yet...Nate Berkus is Target's newest home design partner!  Target recently announced its' latest collaboration with designer {cutie} Nate Berkus.  He joins Target's growing list of talented designers like Thomas O'Brien, Missoni and Jason Wu (just to name a few).  Nate will be offering an exclusive home collection of over 150+ designer quality products at more affordable prices.  The Nate Berkus Collection at Target will debut in the fall of 2012.  And if you are already familiar with Nate Berkus and his HSN line, you know you will not be disappointed.  Here's sneak peek at what's coming.

So, what do you think?  I'm so excited, I already know what I'm picking up.  What will you be purchasing?

Mirror Mirror On The Wall

Lately, as I've been gathering inspiration and sourcing for a number of design clients I've been reminded that mirrors are not just hung for function anymore, but seen as art.   It seems as if hanging one mirror on a wall is not enough these days.  Mirrors are being hung in pairs or even in multiple quantities.  The more mirrors the merrier.

Here are a few examples I found.

So, what do you think?  Are you the traditional type who sticks to hanging up one mirror?  Or, do you like the look of mirrors hung in multiples?  I do have to say that hanging up more than one mirror does make more of an impact when grouped together.  But that's just me.
