Design Board Monday: Classic Modern Living Room

Today I am attempting to start a New Weekly Series called Design Board Monday.  Every Monday I plan on presenting a designed board here at Dwell With Style.  A Design Board {aka mood board, inspiration board} is the perfect inspiration plan for any design.  I hope you will find the design boards that I post as well as the new series inspirational.  Design Boards can help in envisioning what a space can potentially look like.

Here is an example of a design board I did for a client.  She was going for a classic & serene modern style. 

The client already knew she wanted to go with a serene look.  So, when putting the design board together I went with simple clean lines and neutrals.  An ottoman with a simple Ikat pattern in gray was chosen.  It became the inspiration piece for the rest of the room.  The client ended up loving the design board.  I can't wait to show you all the actual finished room.
