the ombre effect

Today I have Ombre on my mind.

I found this gorgeous purple Ombre stripe effect in a little girl's room on Bryn's blog. This room happens to belong to a house that is apparently on the market in Charlotte, NC. Then I found this DIY Ombre Art done by Danielle Oakey. After seeing how easy this is I am totally inspired to create my own Ombre Art. Danielle provides a tutorial on how she did hers. Check out her post here.
